Youth Development Programme

Hatfield Christian College

Under the guidance of Nic Pieterse, a successful programme is run at Hatfield Christian College, where Nic spends time with a group of learners every week and teaches them about aeroplanes, how they fly, the construction of planes, and finally how to fly them.

Two groups are run a year, each group consisting of 10 learners. The learners are taught the basic theory of flight, they then move on to constructing a plane and finally at the end of the programme, they go out to an airfield and see and learn to fly their planes.
