Waterkloof Airforce Base were the hosts for the AAD 2004 Youth Programme
The development Programme has the following advantages to promote aviation awareness:
- Theory of aviation can be experienced by assembling the kit.
- Hand & eye coordination is enhanced during building.
- Patience and creativity is fostered.
- Project management is experienced when working with the kit instructions.
- Engineering awareness is created with the different aircraft sub assemblies role and functions.
- You can't take the real aircraft home - but you can take the kit home once finished.
