The flying field is positioned at S25 49.505 E28 05.720 which is approximately 2 kilometers South South West of the Swartkops motor racing track, South of Erasmia and West of Sunderland Ridge Industrial area.
From the N14 Krugersdorp highway take the off ramp (exit 317) marked R55 Sandton/ Pretoria West. If coming from the West turn left and if from the East, turn right onto the R55. Travel North for about 1 km until you come to a traffic circle. Just before the circle you will pass an Engen garage on the left and a Sasol garage on the right.When you get to the circle, the second road is the R55.
Carry on the R55 for 4 km. You will come to a set of traffic lights. Turn left into Sunderland Ridge industrial area. The road curves to the left and comes to a `T' junction. Turn right and carry straight on until you come to a 3-way stop. Carry straight on. The road meanders left and right and then becomes Sesmylspruit road. Carry on until you come to a cul-de-sac where you will see a signboard saying Groengoud grass farm. As you enter the property turn immediately right onto a dirt road and follow it down with the concrete wall on your right. Take the first dirt road on the left and it will lead you to the parking area. Please drive slowly to keep the dust down.
Please be on the lookout for irrigation pipes and under no circumstances drive over these. The farmer will charge you about R400 per length damaged.
